Grand Bend Motorplex is pleased to announce that multi-time IHRA & NHRA World Champion and Bracket Racing Superstar Scotty Richardson, will bring “The Scotty Richardson Dragracing School” to GBM on Thursday, July 8 & Friday July 9, 2010. Richardson’s unique school offers TWO levels of participation.

For just $150 per person, you can participate in the CLASSROOM program, where Richardson will share his knowledge and secrets for on track success.  This option will also allow you to watch the Drag School on Track (but not participate in the on track action).  This Classroom portion will be Thursday from 10 am to approximately 4 pm and again on Friday from 8 am to noon.

The second option, for just $300 per person, is limited availability inviting you to participate in the Classroom as outlined above PLUS on Friday afternoon, you will participate on track in an actual 1/8 race (running for a purse) where Scotty Richardson will help you implement the classroom tactics into “on track” productivity.  This portion of the program is limited to the FIRST 16 drivers in a Top ET event (1/8 mile) and the FIRST 16 drivers in a Modified ET event (1/8 mile).  You need to have your own car and equipment.   Car, safety equipment, etc are all subject to IHRA technical inspection.   Once these spots sell out, they’re gone!   If rain hampers the on-track action, each “On Track” participant will receive a $150 refund.

Those wishing to take this opportunity to learn from the very best, will be required to make a $100 deposit for the full racing package or a $50 deposit for the Classroom only package to secure their position.
