Data Recorders 0-9.99 seconds (1/4 mile)
On board computers and data recorders are permitted in Top Dragster, Top Sportsman and Top E.T. competition only. Systems may only display data after a run and their use is restricted by the parameters outlined in the 2009 IHRA Rulebook.

If a device of any kind is discovered that transmits data or track location on any entry, the competitor and the team will be immediately suspended from further competition indefinitely and lose all related points and subsequent prize rewards.

Engine Diapers
All Grand Bend Motorplex competitors running 8.90 seconds or quicker in the 1/4 mile are required to utilize a Grand Bend Motorplex approved engine containment system (SFI diapers are NOT mandatory until the competitor reaches IHRA specified E.T.'s and speeds). First time visitors will have a grace period of one racing weekend to compete without the required engine diaper.
NOTE: Previously accepted diapers will continue to be GBM approved.

Oil Line Testing
Canadian competitors can now have oil line testing done in Ontario.
