Popular "MOTORHEAD" TV Series episode to be filmed at GBM on the May 24wkd - Thanks to the Great RPM Magazine/Lucas Oil Products Extreme Event Team. This is the first foray into drag racing for Motorhead and the episode will be aired on MAVTV in the USA and in Canada on Canada-Travel and Escape. So Bring out your Cars! Bring out your Family! Bring your  Friends! and show MOTORHEAD TV why Drag Racing is such a Great Family sport !

The SPRING BLOWOUT schedule

Friday -  Gates open at 3pm (racing & camping)  Test & Tune from  6-10pm  Gates close at Midnight.

Sat -  Gates open at 8am, Timetrials start 10am followed by eliminations, AFC and Pro Mod qualifiers approx - 2:30, 4:30 & 7pm

Sun - Gates open 8am, Timetrials 9:15-9:30am followed by eliminations, AFC and Pro Mod eliminations  approx 11:30am ( Pro Mod)  1pm, 3:30pm and 5pm (AFC & PM)  Concert gate 8pm  Concert 9pm.

NOTE ; The  $65 Advance ticket package for the weekend ( 3 nights camping, 3 days race spectating and the concert) expires at the close of businees on Thursday (5pm)  The walkup price starting Friday morning is $100.

RIVAL SONS will headline the May 24 Concert portion of the Largest Spring Blowout in Years !

RPM Magazine and Lucas Oil present the largest Rudy Helds Performance Centre Spring Blowout in Years. The race portion of the Weekend features the return of the wildly popular 5 second 240MPH Alcohol Funny cars as the NDRA kicks of its inaugural season. Plus we have 6 second 200+ MPH Door Slammers, A Jet Dragster, the Wheelstanding Can Am Stock/Super Stock series, the Amherst Quarries/Armando’s Pizza Extreme 32 series, plus all the GBM Thunder and Junior classes.

On the concert side Rival Sons a blues infused, hard rock band will be making at stop at GBM Sunday night before they head back to the UK. Before the Curtian a Peterborough based band making their way up the charts will open the concert.
